Castro - Isla Chiloe

This was a very picturesque town with a very unusual church made from wood internally and clad with pressed metal sheets and there are about 150 of this type of church all over the island.

Lots of very colourful houses but a little run-down. Charming, nonetheless.

  1. Wonderful!

If you are wondering why we have not posted on your blog - it is because we didn't know there WAS a blog. We ran into David today and asked if he had heard from you. Voila, found out about the blog. We are now beginning to catch up on all the photos and stories. It is really an amazing trip.

only 5 more weeks to ours......

Stay well. Enjoy the trip. Drink coffee and eat cake!
